Regulations Under Act 1170

Regulations by the Minister

The Minister shall, within twelve months after the coming into force of this Act, on the advice of the Council, by legislative instrument, make Regulations for the effective and efficient implementation of this Act.

Scope of Regulations

Regulations shall cover: courses and examinations; disciplinary rules; rules governing the National Bar Examination; fees charged by the Council; terms and conditions of service of Council staff; and forms for applications under this Act.

Regulations and policies will be published here as they are issued by the Minister on the advice of the Council. Check back for updates.
