Ten Directorates, One Mandate

Each directorate has a defined institutional role, while working collaboratively across academic, regulatory, digital, administrative, financial, operational and assurance functions.

Together, the directorates help CLET deliver its mandate under the Legal Education Act, strengthen public confidence in legal education and support the development of competent, ethical and practice-ready legal professionals.

Public-facing structure

The Legal Education Appeals Tribunal appears separately in the governance structure and is treated as an independent statutory body, not as one of the ten substantive directorates.
