Working at the Council

Why the work of the Council matters, and what it is like to be part of it.

The Council for Legal Education and Training exists to protect the standard of legal education in Ghana and the integrity of the route to practise. The people who do that work — accreditation officers, examinations staff, policy and legal advisers, corporate services — carry a public trust, and the Council recruits for judgement and integrity as much as for qualifications.

Appointments are made on merit through an open process. The Council is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes applications from candidates of every background. Vacancies, when they are open, are listed below and applications are handled through the recruitment system; the Council does not accept applications by any other route.
